Life is sometimes difficult, but we can learn to successfully navigate these moments without losing our peace and joy. The thoughts we let into our mind and the attitude we choose to have are the determining factors.

Psalm 30:5 says, "Crying may last all night, but joy comes in the morning.. A favorite saying is also: "This will also pass!"

Prayer of the day

"God, who takes away the sin of the world and who with your love has embraced and supported me in all the difficult moments! I offer this prayer for the purpose of removing the negative thoughts that dominate my mind and thinking.

These negative thoughts make me suffer because they create uncertainties and fears that control me and lead me to make hasty or rash decisions.

I need your sacred power of love to overcome this situation. I struggle and work hard with faith, honesty and the certainty that one day I will triumph!

Eliminate all the bad thoughts that torment and weaken me. Give me more strength to fight the demons within, and I leave the divine salvation in your hands. I have always been your faithful servant, and the Holy Spirit has always protected me!

Purify my mind, Lord, bring the peace I so desperately seek. Your divine grace will help me find the right path, so please, remove the evil mist that wants to take over my soul.

Amen."

Message and thought of the day

But when times are tough, it is really important to keep your mind on the promises of God's Word.

When I am in the midst of trouble, I reread Romans (8:35-39) and remind myself that no matter what I am going through, God loves me and is with me. He also promises to never allow anything more to happen to me than I can handle if I turn to Him for help (1 Corinthians 10:13).

In difficult times, it's easy to think, "I can't do it, this is too much, this is too much! Pay attention to this kind of thinking, and when you identify it, remember that it is a lie.

Replace it with a God-inspired thought, such as "I can do what I must do because God is with me.. This winter season in my life will one day end and spring will come.
